damn. too many hot pictures of you in this entry!
and hot damn! is that your computer? it's like SOOOO PIMPED OUT!
it's OSXx86! cracked/bootlegged from your nearest download stop.
primes are sharp as hell. looks good, might wanna check your white balance, some of the pics look a tad warm (did you use AWB?)
HEy very nice pics!! did you get the 50mm prime? Which one did you get? the 1.8 or 1.4?
Is that really OSX? looks like you have it running on a Dell...how did you manage that?
Are you shooting in manual? I agree with zstryder....WB needs a lil work, but your pics are getting goooD!! Keep on shooting....don't let that d50 get dusty!
to michelle:
want to get a room? lol. and... no, that is not my computer. No need for the maccies to hunt me down.
to alex:
But just for you, I'll look up what white balance and AWB mean. *sigh* making me study =P
since you are the first to guess correctly, you deserve a prize. bragging rights. yep, I know. I'm generous. About your picture taking comments, you swear you think I know what all that photo lingo is. But alas, I am not as nerdy as you are, my friend. I've got a ways to go.
to hoho:
It's not a Dell, but an IBM Thinkpad T40 with T43 innards and yes it is running OSX. But I have no idea how it got on there (in case any Apple employees are reading this). *wink wink* No, I'm not shooting manually because Allen hasn't been able to get me to sit still for more than 5 minutes to explain all the doohickeys and terms. He did lend me some books but they are collecting dust because my PS2 is quite the jealous type and needs lots of loving. Oh and for my birthday, my friends got me the Nikon 50mm fixed 1.8 and the Sigma 70-300mm 4-5.6 lenses. The simga is still in its box and the prime only got one go around (pics above). -_- I need someone to strap me down and explain everything to me. Perhaps we should all go on a photo excursion when the weather warms up. I hibernate during the winter.
wow, i don't know anything about photography but these pics look pretty damn clear.
NICE pictures
Tell Qui I said hello
I miss you alot and I am glad that you are well.
haha, i'm always up for il mee. lets see if we can get together this week.
nice pics.. i was gonna guess a simliar answer to ur question.. but it slaready been answered
there are a lot of photographers in northern va.. yesterday when i went to the zoo.. it seemed like 1 outta 10 people had a DSLR with 'em and they were busting out tripods with thousand dollar lenses.. crazynesssss. And I'm just a beginner photographer.. Just got my camera and setup a few weeks ago. Your pics look good. I think they're sharp LOL i was just reading one of the above comments.. you still have your new lens in the box?? As soon as I get a new lens I ALWAYS bust 'em out and test them. That 70-300mm would be GREAT for the Zoo. Cause I have a 55-200mm lens and JUST purchased a canon 70-200 f/4L lens and 200mm is good.. but 300mm is even better. Some of those animals are far away.. like the tiger, cheetah, panda..etc..etc Oh and I suggest going early in the morning before all the little kids and parents get there.. cause everything will be crowded. If you're a beginner photographer like me.. (and i read you dont like going out during the winter).. now would be the PERFECT time to read up on stuff. Like while I was waiting for my camera to come (the guy took the cheapest shipping method.. took about a week to get here.. when he only lives in VA beach).. but yeah at night time and during my free time I would go to the Bookstore and library and read up on some books. What DSLR do you have? I'm guessing Nikon D50 or D70 since you got a Nikon prime lens. Either way.. they have books JUST for your camera. Check out Ritz Camer or Borders/Barnes and Noble. I saw a few books that ONLY dealt with Nikon DSLRs. Like I got a book that is made JUST for Canon Digital Rebel and Digital Rebel XT. And it tells me what lens is good for what.. and what al that aperature, iso, shutter, white balance, depth of field is.. and what settings to do use for what situations.. weather it's a sunrise, sunset, landscape, portrait, fast action shot, macro shot..etc..etc And of course you can always play around with your camera in your house. That's what I do at night cuse it's too cold here in Northern VA. If you scroll down to a few of my points.. you can see a "light painting" picture I did a week or so ago.. that was pretty fun and I didn't have to go anywhere. Well I hope I helped you. Have a great rest of the weekend!!!!.. err.. wait.. it's Monday.. yuck.
yea, i wanna get a room...mate!
still working on buying a place this fall?
cuz i'm still interested.
Cute pics! They're so clear! I guess that's because you have such a nice camera and don't beat it up like I do. Dinner was fun... we gotta do it again soon! And yes... let's make use of my fish balls.
Eh, can allways talk about the potential plot twists. Or the vast number of unexpected new characters and what they bring to the table.
you take much better pictures than i
good job! you can do it
